Tiny. Tiny in the sense that he was perfectly content cradled in his daddy’s arms feeding from a bottle. Tiny in the way only 19 days old are with their itty bitty fingers, the teeny tiny toes and soft round bellies can be. Tiny in that his parents lovingly call him “Peanut.”
When I first came to the house I was met by Mulligan who was in charge of alerting everyone of my presence. He was the first of the Dugas team. I loved watching this family as they were so connected and close, doing everything for Grant as a team. Socks, outfit consulting, diaper changes, even Mulligan stood close by and monitored. The love and adoration of this new little one in the household, this ‘Peanut,’ was beautiful to witness.
Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home, it was wonderful to spend time with you and meet little Grant.

There is something therapeutic as you place a check next to each of your line items on our to do lists. I’m a To Do Lister. I believe they keep me sane and help me focus, sometimes they make me feel important and oh so busy, but mostly I love being able to check each item off my list and feel productive. To Do lists seem to amp up every occasion. Yes I still need a reminder of what to pack when I visit my parents (I have two dogs to keep up with so I can’t forget my hair dryer and be a frizz ball all weekend), what to focus on a particular day for work, grocery lists, everything.
So I’m not sure if it was the intense and never ending To Do lists that centers around planning weddings or just the fact that I was planning my own wedding, but I love love love planning weddings. I love that everyone has their own unique ideas, reception locations are popping up out of the woodwork and I keep thinking, ‘Where were you two years ago?’ No worries, I loved my wedding, but I have so many other ideas in my head, I could get married 6 more times (to the same guy people) so I could wear all the dresses and have all the different kind of flowers to my hearts content. I love listening to my brides as they rave about their flowers, their unique cake, their dress that they tried on and instantly knew was the ‘one,’ the cake flavors, all the yummy details.
Maybe that is why I love Wedding Chicks. I can live out every fantasy wedding, get ideas, and fall in love with the details all over again! I really wish I had known about this site when I was planning my wedding, the ideas are superb! Ladies, you have to check out this site as it gives you ideas to live out your very own fantasy wedding and the tools to recreate it for your own.
